Flavours is an early 18th century building, with traditional oak beams and some cob walls.
We believe it has been a blacksmith’s, a nail-maker’s and a drapery shop in the past and maybe even a sweet shop at one time but it has definitely been associated with providing food in one form or another since at least the 1940’s.
Herman is Turkish by birth but has spent most of his life in England and is the driving force behind “Flavours” He is a chef with a passion for using fresh ingredients and experimenting with flavours.
Perhaps this is not so unique these days isn’t that what they’re all up to? Well there are a few out there, but this is here in Wellington either you’re neighbour, you’re local or on holiday in Somerset. You don’t have to travel to the wilds of some other county. Why not pop in when you visit Wellington to shop, perhaps to visit your local Waitrose. Make a day of it, do some shopping, have lunch or dinner.
